Anika Noni has a career as an American performer and singer. She's best known for portraying Tiana Disney's her first African American Princess In The Princess and the Frog. Anika noni Rose, a native of the United States is an American actor, singer and songwriter. Also, she is known for her performances in theatre particularly due to her roles in the lead role of Emmie Thibodeaux, in The Broadway production of Caroline or Change (2004) where she received the Tony Award for Best Featured actor in a Musical. Also, she starred as Beneatha Younger in the Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun (2014) in which she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured actress in a play.
