Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for her role of Bo. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother at work and attending play rehearsals. Silk appeared as a little actress in commercials. In 2009, she got the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was expecting while shooting the final season of the third series. Silk announced her pregnancy to the viewers in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on the 20th of June, 2013 that the production was set to begin on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN recognized Bo's performance along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular television couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple in 2013.
